Purpose of this policy
This policy explains how RoamScene selects, presents and responds to concerns about third-party city videos and radio streams. Our aim is to make sources transparent while building a useful virtual city experience.
What we look for
We prioritise place-specific, long-form material that gives a clear sense of streets, transport, landscape or everyday city life. We avoid misleading locations, heavily repackaged clips, graphic material and content whose main purpose is unrelated promotion.
Sources, ownership and attribution
Videos are played through the original platform player and radio is requested from public station streams. RoamScene does not claim ownership of third-party media and does not download, record, proxy, re-upload or archive it. Where available, city pages link to the original video and station website.
Availability and changes
Creators, platforms and broadcasters can change, restrict or remove their content at any time. A listing on RoamScene does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement. We may replace or remove sources that are unavailable, inaccurate, unsafe or no longer meet this policy.
Reporting content or requesting removal
A creator, rights holder, broadcaster or affected person may request review or removal. A useful notice identifies the RoamScene page and source URL, explains the concern, states the requester’s relationship to the content and includes a reliable way to reply.
We review credible notices in good faith and may temporarily hide material while checking it. Depending on the issue, we may correct attribution, replace a source, restrict access or remove the listing. Deliberately incomplete or abusive reports may not receive a response.
Editorial independence
City and source selection is editorial. Inclusion is not a ranking of a place, creator or station, and omission does not express a judgment. We aim for geographic variety, stable playback, clear provenance and an experience that respects both audiences and source publishers.
